Cylindrical green tin printed Kenya Safari Tea, circular animal portraits and 'Finest Blend' on the lid, about 10 cm diameter.
A green cylindrical tea tin, the shop has it filed as a 1960s vintage Kenya Safari tea tin. The body is printed with circular portrait panels showing elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard, and the lid reads KENYA SAFARI TEA with FINEST BLEND around a central elephant vignette. The colour is a deep green with pale round panels and gilt lettering to the lower rim. It is used,The lid lifts off cleanly and the tin stands well. Good for a kitchen shelf, tea display or a collection of travel and safari curios.
