The piece is modelled with a lively, slightly smiling face and folded arms, the robe rendered in soft, suggestive folds and a fine granular surface texture. Bare size about 14 x 14 cm. The surface shows an even pale tone and the modelling around the face, hands and folds remains clear. bookend or paperweight on a desk, it will sit well on a mantel, shelf or in a curiosities cabinet as a characterful small study.
