Pair of adjustable silver plated candlesticks

Adjustable silverplated candlesticks. Removable galleries. There have been alterations to the inside of the base on the one candlestick, as a consequence, it will not drop into the base. There is a screw mechanism that allows the other candle stick to shorten. As shown in the photographs. Both bases are weighted and i believe they are victorian. Very attractive pieces.
