Probably Mid 20th century, overall height 55 cm on its stand and about 17.5 cm across at the widest point, weight about 900 g. The hand-painted decoration remains bright, the figure rendered in a naive, folk-art style that suits a cabinet of curiosities or an eclectic mantel. The iron rocker and weight have a pitted, aged surface and the pale circular base is painted, which provides a stable display. Small paint losses are consistent with age.
